As part of your consultation, we will screenshare to enable you to write your complaint letter, with my expert checking. We go through important points and structure them carefully, to clearly explain your situation, and raise issues that are normally considered when complaints are reviewed.
Another important part of the session covers timescale. I explain how the Financial Ombudsman tends to approach matters should your case be refused by the bank. If your case has been rejected, there are strict deadlines for taking the case to the Financial Ombudsman. Many claimants do not realise this, and miss the window. We will go through key dates, so you know exactly what needs to go in your diary and any time limits that may apply.
